The Summer seems to be flying by, and despite the odd showers I think we've had a much better year. Certainly we've enjoyed some great days up here in Ravenscar, and it was particularly nice to see one of our Weddings taking traditional Afternoon Tea on the lawns.
We've had a bumper year for Weddings, which continue throughout Autumn and Winter and also we've welcomed a lot more families this year. The Garden Team are constantly working to improve the Golf Course, the Tennis, Putting and croquet have been popular and our new Games Room has been a great success. Many of you have taken a quick break to relax, take Dinner and enjoy the stunning views from the Restaurant and Bay View Lounge, and we will continue with more great offers in the coming months.
I've been really pleased to receive so many letters and emails from many of you thanking us for your stay and in particular praising our "family" of staff. It's kind of people to take the time to write and express their pleasure, and you all know how much I value and appreciate our Team, so it makes me very proud for them.

WELCOME THE TEAM
We're pleased to introduce Christie Girjoaba, our Restaurant and Bar Manager, who joined us in May and has taken up this busy position with great enthusiasm and charm.
Congratulations to Stanislav Radilov, who has been with us for some time, and has been promoted to an Assistant Manager through his hard work and conscientiousness.
I'm sure both colleagues will be a great support to Mahela Vidanapatirana, Operations Manager who continues to work tirelessly with a big smile on his face!

CHEFS RECIPE OF THE MONTH
Potted Chicken Liver Pate x 4
You will need ;
4x Ramekins
1x Sieve (Fine)
1x Food Processor or Liquidiser
Ingredients
150g Fresh Chicken Livers
150g Clarified Butter
1 x Small Onion Finely Diced
1 x Fresh or Dried Bay Leaf
50ml Brandy
25ml Rum
25ml Red Wine
A Few Thyme Leaves
And two table spoons of redcurrant jelly
