About Raven Hall Scarborough Hotel

Relax in front of the fire at Raven Hall Whitby Hotel
A couple enjoying a romantic meal in our Scarborough Hotel restaurant
Raven Hall is dramatically situated in the North York Moors national park set between the both Whitby and Scarborough , 600 feet above sea level, overlooking Robin Hood's Bay. The village of Ravenscar has a long and turbulent history dating back to the fifth century when the Romans built a fort on this very site. It was however George III who gave Raven Hall the royal connection when he made it his special retreat.

From the village of Ravenscar you can rediscover the countryside with its sheer variety of landscapes and an abundance of wildlife. Enjoy the beautiful heather moorland, the Moors Railway; visit Goathland (the centre of "Heartbeat Country") and Pickering.

With both Scarborough and Whitby just a short drive away, you are able to enjoy the heritage of Whitby Abbey and Scarborough Castle, the sweeping sands of the Scarborough North and South Bays and the narrow cobbled streets and pantiled houses of Whitby. The famous live entertainment of Scarborough adds spice to make this the ideal holiday centre.

We know that you will enjoy your stay at Raven Hall and experience the warm welcome from our friendly staff.
